There is a flat $20 retrieval rate for all TVs, metal items, and white goods. in order for Public Works to take to the item recycling yard. You must schedule pick up with Municipal Services located at 523 Egg Harbor Road by Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. White Goods, TV's & Other Metal Products:Īll metal objects, TV's and white goods (i.e.: refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other metal appliances) will not be retrieved curbside by normal trash collection. Anyone who did not put out on their regular day need not worry because they will be around to pick up the following day.īusinesses in Washington Township that have private dumpster service and are interested in recycling single stream items (bottles, cans, paper, cardboard), E-Waste or metal items please contact the Public Works Department at 85 However, they will always go back through the following day as well. This is done if they finish the previous day’s route early. The trash company does try to get ahead of the schedule by working in developments on their regularly scheduled day. However, please note if a holiday falls on a weekend, but is officially observed on a weekday, there will still be a delay. If the holiday falls on the weekend, there will be no delay. The following holidays will delay trash ONE DAY: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please remember that trash and recycling cannot be put out any earlier than 6 p.m. In order for your trash to be picked up: Trash, Recycling and Yard Debris MUST BE SEPARATED into properly designated cans! Three Separate trucks come by to pick up trash, failure to separate the trash, can and will result in your waste not being picked up. The new rule only effects the recycling program which contains recyclables and yard debris.* *You are still permitted to put regular household trash in plastic bags.
